Saving Daylight [Random Challenge #13]

Soon I'll be saving daylight
I'll gather it up by the hour
Spring forward, grab a handful
Like a big bouquet of flowers

Oh, to have more time
I will want to save it all
For all the summer things to do
Save it for in the fall

The older that I get
The more time that I need
As years go blinding fast
Ever do they speed

So, save me up some time
Please save it just for me
I'll spend my lifetime with you
And you can have my time for free

You can have my time for free

I found this poem to be very amusing. I've always thought of daylight savings to be a waste of time, LOL!

I cant wait for time to change and nightfall to come at a later time. Your poem gave me a nice sense of Spring and warmer weather. Thanks for sharing.

Springtime! I can't wait! Glad I shared my thoughts on Daylight Savings, I too, wish that they would leave it alone; we all know that the days grow short during the winter and longer in the Summer, just a natural thing. ~ Geez.
