FESTIVAL OF COLOURS

Whenever I stare my eyes afar of
I behold several colors that standoff
a cosmic matter dovetail by rainbow
mostly caused by water droplet glow

the exquisite scintillating sky
shines outrightly on high
at this time, the moon unbundles itself
and takes shelter in a clandestine oneself

the festivity of colors above the cloud
becomes my eyewitness and I'm proud
for these elegant movements of colours
heading towards the Mars with honours

For me, the beauty of the cloud
lies on its multiplex colors that crowd
the traffic-light green colour that surface
all round about the sky and it's place

the green colour always depicts healthiness
fertility, productivity and harvest of loveliness
for green color is signature of mother earth
without it, earthly plantation will be dearth

The idea that rainbows are drops of water, held up in the air to filter the sun, is particularly intriguing.
Water being the basis of life as we know it. I like your thoughts on green being the health of the Earth
I'm not sure about how you portray the color green being so much of the sky, but maybe your part of the world
is greener than mine. Anyway, nice piece of work, and I'm guessing that you can name your poem any form that you want.
