THREE DECADES TOIL NO LAMP OIL

WHAT AN HONOUR

No one can give
all hanker for
NOBEL
none will ever give

Believe you me
I ran after it
gave me only
disappointment
truly

Now having settled
at the NIAGARA'S water level
I have no desire left

I feel so elated
when poets with stature
comment on my smaller poetry

off and on they capture
and
what do they do

REPLANT MY ENTIRE POEM
as a compliment /comment
(on my poem)

They help me wash my eyes
as the QUEEN OF MIST
NIAGARA now cries
as the water solidifies

Geezer

that lay scattered amongst the debris, one just has to mine and polish them. Do not let the search for the most beautiful in all the land, take away from the efforts and treasure acquired in a lifetime of labor. ~ Geez.

I didn’t know Lord Byron’s dad was abusive.

Well, read your answer a few times, and think I understand.

My family doesn’t read my work either…. Well, some of my cousins do, however nobody that lives with me seems to want to read the work. Sympathize with you there.
