Poetry is sheer imagery great poets never cared for prosperity
each poet has his own individuality
To be slated if you wish to be
take up publishing novelty

And yet…
Some poets seem to experience commercial success, are named poet laureates, sell out for their readings, etc. I’mnot in it for the cash, however would like to be known for my work worldwide.
I don’t measure my success in those terms, however i wouldn’t feel bad is some of those things came along for me.
I am not a “educated-in-college” poet…however have taken the time to read broadly, and attempt to understand the other poets ways. The poets I have listed on my bio page here are the ones I have found to be influential.
I will write no novels my friend…
