Past Present Future

The curse the rejections the love hate disposition
Memories of a fishy past you dealt
never mind you
then perhaps had no mind

you let time pass
I let the river flow

now as my time to go nears also
before it does I wish to advise

all those loveliest kith and kin
forgiveness is the greatest tribute
to mankind
but I must also remind

it does not permit one
to forget the time gone by
but surely defines the fairer future

which can be spelt differently
by each or remotely combined
move forwards in this world
now wrought so lonely
Covid breeds
live now faithfully no one knows
when who will go

Wait and See, my pop always told me
over five decades have seeded nothing
I still Wait at Sea
Now I just stand behind the next generation
party of which you all now be

Do something
Don't wait any more on the
sandy timeless hot beach

I know of you, you have not just sat waiting on the beach. You are a shameless self-promoter, that has endeared yourself to all who see beneath the ego, to the person with a good heart. I'm not sure what you mean by the lines;

"which can be spelt differently
by each or remotely combined
move forwards in this world
now wrought so lonely"

~ Geez.

the poem is fictitiously ....mainly ///seeing families blue //under Covid still spreading wildly too
so thank you

I like the direction at the end... directing us to wait no longer...

Thanks for this piece. I find it meaningful.

Am reading e.e.cummings now, my sister gave me a “Complete works” bookof his poetry (only 2&1/2” thick). Your writing reminds me of his.
