The Truth As I See It

So what if I could change black to blue
would there be anymore truth in the colors?
and where is the line drawn
Between the reality and the fantasy?
Does it even matter?
All is toxic
toxic air, toxic water ,toxic thoughts

So where do we go from here
the struggle is real
reality is a cesspool
of others dreams and thought

But where is my reality
is it gone forever
each day I play act
at what I think my life should be

But can no one see the truth
that is me
or must I play a part forevermore

I think this could be a sequel to the last poem you posted here. Like part one and part two... lie very much the colors in the beginning, perfect for setting the visuals...

I heard a comedienne recently that said: “the light at the end of the tunnel serves to show us how dark and skanky the tunnel really is.”

Thank you for that good to see you reading my work

Geezer

we need to stop and look at the bright side of who and what we are. Like the color change [black to blue] or vice-versa,
once the change is made then it becomes the truth. Presentation is everything! We love you, love yourself

beware of people that will announce "I'll tell you the truth," because you know, a big fat lie is forthcoming. In general, everyone has the truth as they perceive it. Take this from one who knows, lol. Nice write, Chrys.
