Daylight shows every line
every callous
every sc ar
and every tear

Hurry sundown
hide all traces
of past love and past regrets

Sunlight shows more
than people want to see
let me live in obscurity

Hurry sundown
hide all traces
of love gained
then lost
of a lifetime
of tears,fears and longing
