Words of Passion

Bless the letters and praise the words,
Passion to mourn the human pains,
Birds that flatter, flowers that daze,
Bless the letters, and praise the words.

Bless the letters and praise the words,
Pendants adorn the human strains,
Jewels that matter, gems to blaze,
Bless the letters and praise the words.

I love your poem, particularly the repetition of "Bless the letters and praise the words."

I like your structure quite a bit, although if you had your third line rhyme internally as your seventh line did, I think it could help that a bit. Other than that, happy new year, and it's nice to meet you!
