the eternal wilderness where nothing but just two meet and greet
'nothingness and humility' continue to together breathe
what to live by in memory of existential reality
Corona is not the ultimate more will be born
many will grow only digital era will advance
one day someday even if not today
human will be limited to a minuscule digit
like a Morse code sent across millennia galaxies
no one will ever know who we all were
newer generations will laugh for years
till when they too to in eras become dears
fresher ones will arrive so why Corona fear
it’s not humans’ last tear millions more to come
one will have to bear
so humans don't worry don't despair

I submitted a piece to an English Poetry Journal, and the editor began a conversation about my submission. She did print my piece, after thinking it thru with me via email. One of the ithings she had to say to me was that the meter/inflection was different from American English to British English. I was wondering if you translated your piece from Romanian to English?

That piece was printed in 2017... was an intriguing piece about
Jimi hendrix and Leonardo da Venci. Used more than a few three syllable words in it that the Editor had something to say about. It was more about how a line landed in the minds of a reader, used to British English, instead of American English. The discussion within the piece was about contextual places in Da Venci’s room of infinity in the Rome museum. The places that a room full of mirrors could take one, in one’s head....
There was a definite (unconscious on my part, actually) use of meter that the Editor was discussing with me, her point of view was that some of the words woukd not only sound different.,also would act differently in the British English readers mind.

Pay special attention to this virus is number 19 not number one. There have been 18 previous ones and none of them were met with false panic and the closing of the economy or even schools. Why do you think this one is treated differently? Perhaps politics........

Among the Covid viruses, two previous virus’ were cause for alerted concern, MERS, and SARS. Both were huge in the medical world, and terrible. Only definitive, cooperative, containment controlled them, and there was significant loss of human life in the populations affected until containment was accomplished.
SARS originated in Wuhan, China, in 2003. It spread to 26 countries and caused 8000 deaths, before it was contained.
MERS originated in Saudi Arabia, is thought to have jumped from camels to humans, and 35% of patients sickened by it died.
Covid 19 is named after the year (2019), not because there were eighteen previous to it.
This is still a great subject to write about, in amongst all the death and awful circumstance.
