Brush with Death

The wind slapped my face
are you awake
I am Death today
don’t wait
I shall speed up
I may

as death warned me by
my hairs stood on end
my body was now shaky
will death also touch me

I thought I am invulnerable
no wind
no cyclone
no tsunami
can ever push me
into the
Burning Inferno Garbage Bin
of Time

who dared the wind to

but notwithstanding the fear of death lurking
I am now nailed to the ground firmly

but little will I be able to do
if it the wind comes at a missile’s speed
I shall also cave in

My hair stands on the edge of existence
on its cliff like verge
as the ultimatum of that
Unknown mind
can only one remind

it for you now does
finally chime

we all die. It's just a matter of when. "No man shall know the moment of his passing before hand." We may have the day right, but the moment is Death's. ~ Geezer.

Hi lovedly, you speak the truth (rather lengthily, IMO), but interesting all the way thru'.

"Behold, He Cometh!: Are You Prepared?"

It seems none of us is prepared. We are afraid.
Enjoyed, if that's the correct word for doom and fear. All the best, Gracy
