Faith, hope and love

Faith

God doesn’t play with fire,
internal combustion
is an act of faith.

Hope

is the colour blue
the sky reflected
and how the ocean
fills the rivers of our being

the grass changes with the seasons
and the taste of salt is
a breeze yielding in your open heart

Love

my heart has become accustomed
to being broken
at first
i guarded i protected i was a vast army
"Keep away"...

a battle-worn victor i became
not yet knowing
the essence of my personal war
which had nothing to do with peace

neither yours
nor mine

nothing to do with god or power
just
the naming….

C

what would you think about using living instead of yielding?
under love
rather than using all of those I's try
I guarded,protected and was a vast army
upper case on i and god
I and God

nice ideas in this work
just needed a bit of polish
hope this helps
