Timely -Return Gift

Oh what a lovely gift
Esker left for thee

It's too late now to thank him
as somewhere he must be soaring
in the wilderness of time
nearer eternity

at times I often feel
we must attend to chores instantly
but then time tells us
silently
wait and see
may it not yet be really
timely

But alas none know
what is in store
beyond a wink
and just no more

this piece applies to Jess
and Moonman also

Good poem about remembering people who've soared up to Heaven. They're in a lot better place here than on Earth.
You have some nice rhymes, like placidly, timely, etc. I didn't get to know those who died. My condolences to their friends here and their family.
