WE ALL ARE BACTERIA

Each one is
inside our stomachs
we have all sorts of bacteria
good and bad
that's why we have loosely light
or very tight stools
some call the former dysentery

we have cholesterol
good and bad

again two kinds
both we need to keep our inner channels clean

So you are not alone
all are humankind
incl animal
are kind of bacteria

the eyes see
as the lens
magnifies 500 times

So in actuality
we are 1/500 of our original size

Ma'am what a bacterium
are we.
both you and me

Interesting reflections, lynn. More like an essay for schoolchildren. That's a compliment, it's not easy to write for children. Below is a line that could be brief:

"All living beings"
all man and human incl animal

You've got a repetition there. In any case, "humankind". Not man!

Yes if not for the bacteria we'd all die. Then there are the bacteria which intend us death and harm. So we just walk that fine line between life and death

Hello, Lovedly,
I have a few members in my family in various medical careers. When they get together, they speak with great excitement about the marvels of the human body. They would so love your poem. My favorite part: "...the eyes see as the lens magnifies 500 times." A bit of mystery and magic right there!
Thank you!
