How's The Red wine

If money only grew on trees
we would never our expenditure freeze
we have to budget our monthly
even if, money today is plenty

but what we have in hand today
will be more than that
we have after the recession to pay
come what may

as apples cost a dollar each
tomorrow the same will be
out of our reach

Only fragrance we would then enjoy
I beseech save your money
lessen your expenses
Oh rich or like me poor boy

There is much rhyme here. I think that this may be one of your best in recent times. I didn't struggle with the lines or where this poem is going. The thoughts were clear and concise and I wish that whatever has brought you to this point, would stick around a while. Nice work. ~ Geezer.
