The View From Here

But then Anxiety
sprung where Spring should sprout.
It reached where my ivy
has to out stretch its hands,
where deffodils and irisis
are working out to rouse,

The Bully Virus had
everything gloved and masked
except for the free running
streams, sparrows' chirps,
and the playful cats,

Do they know that
bullies can't forever
live long and tall?

what you have here, but find that it leaves one wanting more of the story. Just feeling that you could give us more; it feels like you were caught by the bully virus and had to flee the scene. Nice start. ~ Geezer.

Thank you for the generous feedback... Can't think of what else to add but shall think it over
Many thanks

I would never have thought to compare the Wuhan virus to a bully and I think your pointing out how it has no effect on anything except we fragile people was most excellent. Second line seems a bit awkward to me. Perhaps a rewording is in order? Don'y you let the virus bully you or yours.......stan

Thank you so much for your invaluable input. I shall use your second suggestion as for more correct grammar, but as for the first one I'll leave it for the time being as is as I wanted it to read more as a continuity of unstated thoughts. Hope that makes some sense to you and others.
Thank you again for your generous offers.
