My Favorite Book

I read it once and
some hundred times when
I was younger as
well as an adult.

A tale 'bout a witch
who-out of jealous-
offered a beauty
a poisoned apple
that sent her at once
to a longish nap.

Everyone there moaned and
grieved for the beauty's
mishap, everyone cried.

Till a passing prince
approached the sleeping
beauty with the kiss of life
to live happily after.

seems like there are different versions of my favorite "Sleeping Beauty" or at least what I still remember. :)
Really appreciate your kind visit.

and the handsome Prince are favorites of young ladies around the world, but I guess that little boys are not supposed to enjoy them? My oldest boy loved all those stories about Princes and Princesses when he was young. He dreamed of finding a Sleeping Beauty or Snow White to awaken and now that he is a man, he has achieved that very dream. He has awakened a Princess and hopefully will live happily forever after. Nice Job, Rula. ~ Geezer.

Happy to know about your son having his princess. It is almost one of the hardest jobs nowadays. I thing boys and girls alike admire those fairy tales, or that what I think.
Appreciate your kind visit.
