CORONA...The Trembling Hours...Sheer Poetry

The whole night I pass
sleeplessly
thinking of how the scourge
(of man made virus)
or nature’s viciousness makes one believe
that life is just a windy breeze
comes and goes like a tsunami

None knows how and when
life would suddenly freeze
owing to cold waters of the seas

thus we all humans
look upwards
towards heaven
(where else)

is another life for us
dangling
(hanging)
out there
in the wilderness

or high above heaven
beyond eternity
can we feel
our thumping heart
as we live
Corona virus is
Covid 19

Numerologically
this number is supreme
Who named it
19

that it is a man-made virus. Mother Nature is very adept at controlling the human population just as well as she does the animal population. Examples:
1] Around ten/twelve years ago, there were so many raccoons around here, that many of us were afraid to visit our trash containers outside after dark. Just when we thought we were destined to find a way to live with it, They suddenly started developing rabies and dying off. Now, you don't see many at all.

2] Then squirrels started being a big problem, getting into the garbage left for the trash-men and invading our homes [attics and garages]. They developed a wasting disease and for the last couple of years, haven't been much of a problem. [although they are resurging quickly, as their reproduction rate is much like rats].

3] The deer population has been becoming a problem, with them eating crops, getting killed and killing people on the highway and the reduction of hunters to cull the population. Guess what? They too, have developed a wasting disease!

4] Do you think that human-kind is any different than any other mammal? She will find ways to kill us off. It is a natural selection process. ~ Geezer.

such a big deal. When I stick to what I know. These are things that I do know, because I have lived through them. You only have to look at our past, to see that Ole Mother Nature has tried many times to kill us off or at least cull our numbers. Just as we are good at finding cures, she is just as good at finding new ways to kill us. I'm beginning to believe that our propensity for war and murder is another way she works. Thanks for your compliments. ~ Gee.
