Jess will know how to keep your works safe,
I always copy my works several time in various places
My new Ident seems to be the best for me I number each as they are written.
If I write a piece today it is 191208 then its title.
As I have stuff for the last 62 years it has become a task.
I have though hard copies of at least my first 1000 writes
It is a personal thing, just wonder what use the writes will be if anything happens to me.
I will have to leave them to someone in the family lol
Just be careful of flash drives they seem to be unreliable..
Take care out there and my love to all your family.
Yours Ian xx

My problem is that I don't use pens and papers. Most of my work is only and directly typed in Neopoe's text box and submitted there.

Today
To you who walks on warm sands
Far away in another land.
I send my love and good thoughts to you
Hoping that our love of all things
Will see you through ..

lovedly

all over on various sites
many times if you request the management they will just download it with a click only just wait till jes comes
he knows it
or if you are in a hurry maybe stan can help.

And as Ian says unless we are a celebrity even our kids won't read
my spouse hasn't even read one
but poetry is my first life
so I compose

you came first once
I too
but silently thrice
just between us

but it is no substitute for keeping your own backups.

NEOPOET IS NOT AN ARCHIVAL SITE AND ALL CARE BUT NO NO RESPONSIBILITY TAKEN FOR THE SAFE BACKUP OF YOUR WORK.

You need to invest in a USB storage drive to back up your work. I make backups of the backups of my backups just to be safe. Your work is precious and no lengths are too extreme to protect it. Hard copies are a good idea too. EMPs (Electro Magnetic Pulse) destroy all digital data in the vicinity.

Don't know if anyone else has my problem. I had never kept my works in a safe folder or hardware like a computer disc, so I've been thinking recently to accumulating them all in one place so that I won't lose them had my computer crashed. However I am not sure if it is possible to do this through Neopoet.
Is there not such a tool to download them all by one click? Should I copy and paste them one by one?
Please help. I think this is a feature that everyone should be interested in.
