Immortal

Memories are the imprints
everlasting ones
on the footprints
maybe now finger prints
in time

but all evade us
even does time
but memories take
much longer

these after all
none can erase
it’s an inevitable phase
today becomes a yesterday
and
tomorrow
we hope to play
with as a fresh today

then memories
more will form

how then would these impressions
be washed/wiped away
