An Eye for an I

Standing before the mirror I see
an image of what I look like to others
what they may make of me.

May be I am judged by my looks
what I wear to cover my hide
well groomed hair, a stubble, shoes_

Perhaps I am noticed among masses
because of my tattoo,
Omega watch or Rayban glasses.

Is that me, a mere image in the eyes
judged by my looks, like merchandise
in Ads or a flamboyant mannequin?

If not, who am I, a mirror can't perceive
but could deceive
because it doesn't reflect
my mind, heart, soul and spirit
I would rather be hated, loved or dismissed
for that.

This poem is a glittering happening on daily bases, humans like to judge over others but the truth is we all have the definition of our lives ourselves.
No matter what people said or do to you just because of your look doesn't worth your life to be ruined. Thanks for the awareness you just created, this will make people to learn how to dress or approach others.

Hear,
here you have spoken outstandingly we all are two humans
as you once said Jekyl and Hyde both were GEMINI
yes we all are
one what we ourselves r and second what we want others to see
flamboyancy does everyone please
but it's a malady nympho-manic
narcissists disease

A good study between perception and reality......stan

that was absolutely an attractive title. I've been reading the last two days but wasn't able to reach my computer.(still am on my cellphone) :-)
Many questions that you have evoked here I've so many times thought of, but then I 've decided I don't need to pay much attention to what they think of me since I am pretty satisfied of who I am. :)
Hope at least that I read your message that came across right

thanks for reading. You have read it right. Although one cannot control what others make of you...I still believe that one should do introspection because only one can see what others miss out in physical appraisal.
