Why Did I Love You (August contest)

       
                             

                                     They ask me    "why did I love

                              YOU," I say why not   YOU built in me
                            forts; YOU constructed insuperable castles 
                        of trust, YOU turned my quiet breaths to musical   
                     notes, my everyday words turned to lyrics of lullabies 
                      and elysian songs, the hazy eyes then, now draped 
                           in dappled canvas, reflecting colors of YOUR  
                           metaphorical brush, my dry, thirsty lips start-
                                ed a rich flow, a fountain of ink, I started  
                                         to rock and roll on words like
                                           I love YOU. YOUR hearty
                                              world has put in mine
                                                  the meaning
                                                    of the real
                                                          art

very nicely crafted poem very thoughtfully presented in heart shape [being seat of love] ...very soft feel to it and conveying the meaning with good usage of words to express the feelings...many beautiful lines...hard to choose one

I also liked use of uppercase bold for YOU, YOUR to demonstrate what is so central / important/nucleus in love....making your world revolve around him....

please check if you need to add a comma after "the hazy eyes then"

Thank you for the kind words of appreciation.
To get the 'bold' font, you need to choose the advanced format first> highlight the word you need to emphasize> click on control and the letter "b" at the same time. That's it.

For Italics choose control and the letter"i" .
