peddling what you think you know can be quite lucrative,
though sometimes a bit ironic
Adelle Davis quacked on and on about how to avoid cancer
she died of cancer
Jim Fixx squawked a lot about the health benefits of jogging
He died while jogging
pollsters spat proclamations, "hear ye, hear ye, Hillary can't loose"
then she lost
those who make their living prognosticating with words
often have to eat them
though somewhat disgraced, they made big bank
more than enough to console them...(or in some cases, their beneficiaries)
so, peddle what you think you know
don't worry if its truly true
even if not, just shrug it off
and stash all the cash you've accrued

Hello Al
Some wise words there. I tend to think it's more prose than poetry espicially the first part, but still good one to set the mood.
But are you saying we shouldn't offer what we know or give an advice or a suggestion when needed, or was that sth. else?
Everybody has,
Everybody has the right of opinion, doesn't make them wrong or right in my eyes. Just opinionated.
Love reading your words and thoughts. Regards Roscoe...
Hi Al
thanks for sharing the world you see through your lenses....for others to see and make sense of it ....it certainly made me pause to think....
regards..

I admire people who are sure
I admire people who are sure their ideas are worth promoting and that they know better.
Unfortunately among them only a few worth listening to.
oi there! no good tricksy boyo!
Here I was just thinking "yeah, nah, but, it needs a bit of prosodic work" when you slid into that neat last stanza and I forgot all about it... almost.
Again using some levity of style and approach to disarm the reader and trick them into embracing some quite seriously well thought ideas.
Problem is
I don't know a Damn thing and know less every day. Does that mean I'll die wile displaying stupidity? lmao
