Sillys

FOIA: Redacted

and here is the proof of
blank blank blankety blank
it baffles the mind that
blank blank blankety blank
recently revealed by
blank blank blankety blank
we all should sleep with one open eye

..................................

Time Well Spent

floating away
adrift in a daze
out of my mind's
tedious maze

time is now mine
to do as I choose
I choose to do nothing
so nothing I do

......................................

Universal Deja Vu

it's good to finally meet you, professor

if the universe bangs and crunches
an infinite number of times
it is bound to repeart itself
and when, I'll see you then
again

unless, now's the again
and way back then
was the first when where we met

it's good to finally meet you, professor...again?

love! I like this three part "silly" poem. especially the universal deja vu part. laughter is such a gift. sarcasm, irony, and the like. this was a lot of fun to read.

reading these short amusing pieces. I like the middle one most, its universal and timeless.
The last one is a bit of a sci-fi stretch for me, that the universe repeats itself exactly and infinitely, but the idea is well presented.

I wrote a poem as a reply to yours, I exchange haiku with my Japanese friend sometimes, it is accepted practice there. So if you don't mind me doing that, here we go:

A Date

click clack
high heels on cobblestone
echoing words and thunderstorms
blank links to the pages not found
blank looks all around

cleaned hooves braided mane
new saddle riding the same old circles
round and round

screeching of cast iron legs
tables gather around the entry
flapping of fresh hopes
hanged on the ropes
to look like a laundry

yes we have met
and maybe i will see you again
in the confusion of colors and years
in the town without a name

brittle light

Splendiferous

lithesome and sleek
though never meek
harnessing the world
in words ever neat

The danger of responding me in rhyme is real. I have to run and simply wave and nod to your sophisticated lines. Be careful next time, I am obsessive weaver of replies.
Yours I.

I was thinking about for my next workshop, which I haven't named yet but which is about disarming the reader with wit, charm, humour or wordplay in order to slide in a stiletto of seriousness.

Excellent job, sir.
