A meeting in Washington lol..(Sunku)

I wait
Sitting here
Clothed in shade.

Wine flows
A soft voice
Enjoying now.

Loving
Memories glow
The past eclipsed..

Good to see you have read, and that we met under the shady cherry trees that adorn Washington.
Take care on your journeys and know that we can see many things,
Yours as always Ian.x

It was a pleasant encounter, thank you.
Under the blossoming cherries
There is not much shade
But more like milky white aromatic light
With hundreds sun-hares
jamping around and through the air

Thanks for your visit and great comment, I find this form very easy on the mind, as apposed to writing strict formatted poetry,
Written as a return comment to one of my other Sunku's.
Take care and thanks again, Yours Ian..

Yes it is one of the best, I commented on it before when it first appered in comments and asked to post it as independent entry.

I wrote a blog entry about this poem.
I used it as an example to explain Sunku aesthetics.

Have you ruled out the technical issue with workshop submitions, please let me know.

Thank you once again and it is a great honour to be held up as a subject writer for your journey into new places,
Take care and it is lovely to walk with you as always,
Now I shall sit and rest a while, here where the waters sing, and the beauty of the kingfisher flashes its needs,
Yours Ian..xx
