Badges of Honor

The smooth silkiness
of your thighs
Contrast sharply
with the baby-chewed breasts.
Badges of honor
adored
by the loving eyes
Of the man
lying against your chest.

I touch each stretched scar
with light caress,
Awed at the wonder of
motherhood's traces,
Beneath each pink-tipped
mountain crest.

Time neither withers
nor it's beauty replaces!
Wear each sign
with proud dignity my dear,
For by them
your beauty is only
enhanced!

Each trace is an honor
I see most clear
And I can only gaze
upon them entranced.

Fear not, my love,
that thy beauty fade
Or that I no longer care,
For thy marks
are like a sun-dappled glade
Into which lovliness
I shall lustily fare!

Please forgive my taking this method to thank you as I am having to type one handed at the moment. Danged old age. *L* I have read each comment and I appreciate each of them deeply. It is great to be among family again.

Beautiful! A loving testament to your mate. Good title and the theme is very appealing to me.

One of the few that lets my full blown love show through for the wonderful lady that has allowed me to share the last almost 36 years of her life.
