Autumn Nears September Contest

I usually awaken at 7 am;
Was surprised to rise at 6 today;
Even the sun seemed brighter,
An hour early, at sunrise.

It's a new day, autumn is near;
Soon greens will fade;
Browns, yellows will evade,
Trees everywhere.

come over and see
what lovely
colorful leaves

I compose
lovely autumnal poetry
when I see beautiful
trees shedding leaves
