Sat here in limbo land
The brain fog has set in again
Where to turn, no where to land
The dream of dreams reality
today has burned
Ambers
fly high
But today don't quite reach the greyed out sky
They flicker and twist
Memories of yesterday are the now in the mist

I think this is rather wonderful,
thanks scatterhatter.
I'm reminded of the character Suzanne 'Crazeyeyes' from "Orange Is The New Black" saying-
feelings are the grey clouds covering the blue sky, they pass but the blue sky is always there.
or perhaps, like so many of us, you are mourning lost ideals.
Thank you Jess and Lovedly
Thank you Jess and Lovedly for your comments...
I like the 'crazy eyes' idea that the blue is always near
Even at night, although it's a deeper darker blue then!
Not lost ideals, but gaining the strength to reach out to the ideals laid out before me.
Thanks for your support....
It's also the kind of poem we all have to write sometimes.
Not bad, but not necessarily for our major collections, if that's what we're aiming for.
I'm not so have no hesitation in posting about the nothingness, which you, in your talent, still manage to turn into somethingness.
