Frost stole nature's heart

Nature's Gift By Frost Frosts Depiction

Short sweet and simple
as it comes in a farmers way
out in the wilderness
since mornings in May

as spring springs and summer comes in
lovely flowers does nature display
Frost did then say

Believe him you may
as in the country
he did stay

you in cemented forests alone
on buildings with multi floors
87 plus in
NEW EMPIRE STATE BUILDING NEW YORK

all can't reach the last floor
I knocked at the door

Geezer

you keep referring to these works as being free verse. You rhyme through most of them.
I feel as though you hurry through the last parts of your poems.Take your time and think them through. You have produced some really good work here and I know that you can do more. ~ Gee.

In actuality he lived about as much time out of the countryside as he did in lol. But the time he Did spend farming permanently marked his writing. I agree with Gee that you could spend a bit more time on each poem instead of hurrying on to post the next one. Eg. last line. You might say something like " I at least knocked on the door" to clarify meaning..........stan

You light a flame
as we do in Churches and temples
lead kindly light my poet of distinction

but all my verses are off the cuff editions
Many times I've tried to improve
I take suggestions
as and when they come

but then it becomes like a synthetic concoction
yeah metaphorically

Let me know
where you can strike me with a stick
I will clear the forest of all the infested dicks

when good poets like you
want to teach me more than learn
I have read them and you as often

the poet's rainbows may bless you
as you wield a galaxy of glittering poetry

you humble me!
