A Flock Of Callous Haikukus

a stick and a rock
a cockroach climbs one, I smash
it with the other

Willard couldn't bowl
he's a bird, Richard said
then he killed himself

blubbering clouds
soon dry up and disappear
hopefully, you will

talk is not cheap
silence is fools gold
psalm of the rapper

fuck salvation, but
sound the bell, I like the word
tintinnabulation

she took my money
to buy me a stupid gift
I returned her

I don't have a dog
but I have a sign, and a gun
"beware of me"

love anti heros
street prophets
they are more real
then the machined glib
of spin doctors
off to the course
with their spit polished
conversations
and fresh creased pants

I chuckled and laughed
aloud as I read this

I knew many of action
fire driven charioteers
that others knew better
then too piss off
(just yesterday my friend
at work showing me
his tanks he worked on
(hes a super tech brilliant)
showed me a picture of
a sign with a gun!! this
is too warn U that I am
not protecting myself
but too protect U from
me) beware sign...
he is funny..but he is
real...
I know he knows the world
like many and I know it
too....im not blind nor a
fool....im way political
but I so enjoy that salted
enthusiasm of the true
people!

Love this true poem

Some sardonic, dry wit. I laughed, some classic three liners. Another first, can't find: "tintinnabulation" used in context anywhere else in this forum. Good stuff, keep 'em coming, regardless of what Denis Leary said about haiku writers.

Cheers.

Chris.

PS Remind us never to trespass on your property ;/ - a few signs like that around back woods Tasmania, rumour has it, you might end up on the menu too!
