Indelible Memoirs

No alphabets can conjoin
to form words to express
what lips and fingertips script
stroke after delightful stroke
a poem in invisible ink
of those intimate liquid moments
indelible

They come alive
when I close my eyes
like glow worms and goosebumps
with fingertips and nose tips
gently strumming the heartstrings
and amidst them I hear
in a heightened pitch
your sighs

on the wrinkled sheet I read
those verses
in shades of pink and scarlet
tinted in moonlight

An apt title raj.
Wonderful use of analogy.
But not sure about "glow worms" . I never thought that "worms" might be of any beauty. Maybe I am missing something?

Rula

Thanks for teaching me something new. New vocab. and the "worms"? I don't think I can ever like them ;)

R

Another name for them is I think Fireflies...may be you will now know why I said glow worms look beautiful at night...

Regards,

Geezer

this one very sensual and that maybe the worms had their own analogy. Yes, fireflies have a rare beauty about them; like earthbound stars floating through the garden. Nice work, ~ Gee
