A Poem That Has Yet To Be Written

this is a poem
about a poem that has yet to be written

it will most likely have word strung in lines
syntax (slightly distorted for rhythm and rhyme)

spaces in some funny places
cutesy turns of cliched phrases

subject and theme will be cast on a whim
insights glowing, though thin and dim

clarity...not my concern
obscure and cryptic...de riguer

it may be pretty
it may be raw
it may slide easy
or stick in your craw

when finally written
I'll overjoy with bliss

but..'til then

hope you're not
annoyed with this

Geezer

been a while since I've seen you around. Glad to see that you haven't lost your sense of humor!
Funny thing about poems, they just show up and do whatever they like! I'm glad that this one turned up here for me to read! Thanks, ~ Gee.

thanks for welcoming me home. It's been well over a year since last I was here. No particular reason why...so I'll just say my mojo took a very long nap.

this piece was my first attempt to wake up the lazy bastard.

thanks again for your cordiality

E

Glad to see you're back. Hopefully I will be running a workshop here soon. Would love for you to participate.

Thanks

thanks for the welcome back

I'm not much of a joiner, I tried it once. I survived, but was wrung out by the end of the shop, I tend to turn everything concerning others into an ordeal....and should be avoided whenever possible...one of the misgivings of being a certified loner!

when I know the parameters of the workshop I might reconsider

thanks again

E

I'm just as big of a loner as the next guy.

Shop is about abstract words usage and writing abstract poetry. Hope you'll give it a whirl
