There must be ghosts in our house!
First, I saw an old man in our bathroom
this morning.
Then my wife thought she saw some frumpy old
hag in the bedroom!
I went to look for her ghost and she went
to look for mine. I saw the old man in her bedroom
and she saw the old woman in the bathroom!
There seems to be something strange going on!
We decided that someone must be playing tricks on us.
After all, I still see as good as I used to!
When I look at my wife, I can still see the beautiful woman
that I married twenty-five years ago!
Her long dark hair, those beautiful hazel eyes...
She says that even without her glasses, she can still see
the strong, handsome man that she met that night of late summer.
So I guess that we are both okay!
It must be ghosts or something!
When I think about how long we have been married,
I know that it can't be twenty-five years!
Time just doesn't go by that quick!
Then again, maybe it can...
You know what they say.
“Time flies when you're having fun.”
And, it sure has been fun!
Love you, always and forever ~ Guy

Gee
I like this.. It is different from your killer. It reads like prose. Is that intended?
I am trying to write something about real ghosts but not sure if it's going to work. :)
Yes...
it was intended. I'm glad you liked it. I don't always write about Killer, but he is the most recognizable of my work and almost everybody likes Killer. He isn't really a bad sort, he is on the side of justice and takes out bad guys that would ordinarily get away. The only thing I can tell you, is to try! You never know what you can do, if you don't try. ~ Gee
Happy Anniversary!!!!
25 years!!! That really is something!!!! Love the poem and I can attest to the ghosts in your house. The Old Man was a frequent visitor when I stayed in your basement :) Cellar dwellers...good memories...hope you had a great anniversary!!
Gee
I see him regularly he comes in all guises sometimes scruffy and wearing a shadow of hair.
But I now know where to look as he cant hide anywhere.
He looks like my brother sometimes, yet I know he isn't.
So I just grin at him like a twit until I have finished.
I can't remember what I was going to finish, but it rhymed with the other line.
Now the both of us are well, especially him he's doing fine.
I was told not so long ago, that I wasn't to confuse him with the spirits I know.
They don't scowl and turn away from me, their love is always don't you see.
Then there's the wife and that friend of hers, they sometimes chatter at unearthly hours.
Please young Gee can you help me, I need a little reality.
Oh how stupid can I be, you suffer as me.
I wonder if there is one out there, that can help us both, and our lady wives.
It would be like belonging to paradise, if only that old fart would just up and go, he can take the one my wife see's, she would be so pleased.
I suppose I must hire a young man to come in and do the job,
he will tell me the truth about the old yob.
Bet you a pound to a pinch of shit, the old one wont be seen.
He will hide till the young one is outside then show himself again, where was I? I should have written this with a pen.
Night young Gee have a beaut of an anniversary, I am reading a book about "Dorian Grey", do you think I should take up painting.
Yours as always Ian.T
