Southern Summer Showers

Southern summer showers
Steam storms silently
Surrounding sleeping skies,

Lightening lures lovers
Like lovelorn luminaries
Leading luscious lips

Into incredible inklings
Ideas ignite intrepidly
Imagining inspiring intentions

Astounding attractive assumptions
Above accepted accustoms
Achieving alarming ambitions

With wonderful words
Weeping wet willows
Wearily waltz warmly

Together to tears
Tender tempting tunes
Tie thrilling thoughts

Pushing poetic passions
Past panting partners
Pleasing primal purposes

Beneath blinding brilliance
Beyond breathtaking bliss
Beautiful beloveds believe

Enchanting embraces exist
Extending enjoyment eternally
Elevating ecstasy evermore.

About This Poem

Last Few Words: I've been playing around with words and meter lately. I love reading and writing different forms of poetry. I was wondering what anyone might think of this one. I wasn't sure what to title it so I just went with the first line of the poem.

Thank you Alid. I'm not really sure about the meter. I wrote the first line and decided I wanted to try and write a poem using a different letter of the alphabet for each stanza. The rest sorta fell into place on its on. I'm so glad you enjoyed it. Thanks again.

Good write, enjoyed the pictures of tenderness shared by two. The surrounding event intertwined with natures power.
Please read my poem, "Mercies Of Satisfaction"
