Would-be
heroes and star men, rainbow serpents
and young Americans
knocking on death's door. Listen to the
bones speaking with alligator teeth as they
tear themselves from flesh. Listen to life's
musical interpretation of atoms floating
somewhere in stardust.

The Man Who Fell To Earth
About This Poem
Last Few Words: One of my musical heroes. David always reinvented himself through his musical genius. I think poets need to have that Will-O'-The-Wisp ability, too. Otherwise we stagnate. *In the villa of Ormen stands a solitary candle, in the center of it all, your eyes." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kszLwBaC4Sw

The man who fell to earth...
has gone back to the heavens. A fitting tribute to him from one who understood his genius. ~ Gee

Yo Scribbler, what's wrong
Yo Scribbler, what's wrong with having 20 poet's homages?
Did I miss yours?
Nothing is wrong with it lol
I'm still in process of writing mine. Being mostly a rhyming poet I want to be sure the thing is done right without the feel of hash forced rhymes and also with a free enough "feel" to it to not clash with his life style...............stan
Our Anna
A lovely tribute to a loss of such a multitude of fun and near excellence,
The heaven will take a while to adjust to such a roving Spirit.
Yours as always Ian .
