PURPLE AND PINK --updated iN MEMORIAM

PURPLE AND PINK --updated

Pink and purple and poodle skirts
black flats and nylons shear
like feathers light flowing in the breeze
they walked together with the wind;
hair of sunset and fields of wheat
shining brightly in summer heat
laughing whispers fading in the air
My heart sorrows each and every day
like feathers in the breeze
they floated away

Too fast. read my blog. I wrote it after I had a discussion with my priest. I have known little joy since I was a kid. I knew too much, even then, and now--so soon-- it is my turn to leave.

Wes, I DECIDED TO DELETE MY BLOG. IT WAS A POEM DEALING WITH A VIEW OF LIFE AFTER DESTH according to what a priest experienced as he ministered to the sick and dying. It disturbed me greatly. And I need to clarify things with him.

But it is a moot point : no one is going to read it anyway--why waste m y energy. My poetry must be really mediocre. This can be a "cold" place. However, I will continue to post FOR ME.
Also do you realize that there are over 20 pages dating back 4 years of unread poem from different poets--1/2 of which have left.

Everything posted no matter its nature or form is part of the personality of the site. Whatever that may be, positive or negative, is and must be allowed to stay as is.
Please don't delete the blog. Instead, give us the insight you find when you search and we will see how it differs from the blog.
Do it for me.

I am writing an epopee that I occasionally print and give to a friend to read (if only). My only request is not that they read it, but that they never destroy it. Leave it in the bottom of a drawer or in with the Christmas decorations in the garage... I don't care as long as it exists.
Someone... will find it. I will be read and isn't that half of why we write? Who cares if we're not there?
If you delete what you post you mar a body of work that is "in a drawer" somewhere. It is other places also I am sure, but do not harm this body. Leave it complete. It will be read. We will not know by who, but we will be read... even if only once.
