Across chasms of time
our eyes may meet
love long unavailed
will pull at restraint
tomorrow must come
and an adamantium sky
ripples the aurora borealis
above my meager crown
My admiration lies in hidden smiles
as this burgeoning lust rolls all eyes
secreting the ties that bound us
I deny its velocity and validity
As Judas denied christ thrice
I deny us and what we once held
hanging trees of knowledge bloom
the truth is undressed and undenied
Along the Rose line in all my dreams
A shrill coming together killed us
draped in silenced peace I prayed
knowing love burns ever brighter still
But in these awkward realms of glass
where destiny plays with solid rock
and deja vu awakes my middle eye
the blink of a universe trickles tears
Gently twinkling stars remind me
on the tip of my tongue a word
falters to only lay dead in my throat
to know love I must speak in tongues
Knowing this I kiss goodbye the earth
letting destiny take hold of the plans.

Hiya sis
If there's ever one who writes free verse as opposed to chopped prose it's the blond haired Australian. I'm pleased the muse has firm hold of you. Unfortunately the pain and numbness in my right arm is still keeping me from commenting as much as I'd like but rest assured you and others are being read by the old fat bald southern guy lol...........stan

Your profile photo took me by surprise, you know. Guess I'm not used to it, lol.
Now this piece feels like you are embracing destiny wherever it may lead you. So full of imagery. Gee, I don't know what else to say. It's like I'm repeating myself because you never fail to deliver the goods, to inspire and to tell your story. Genius. That's what I think about you.
Breaking the shackles of reality,
I close my eyes to embrace
the world that you've shared with me
which you wrote with such grace
departing from mortal shell
to find the realm of peace
where we can be free
to find a moment of release
My spirit ascending, finding traces of you,
to admire your masterpiece
to walk, fly, swim and dance with you
where emotions gather with ease
From the branches of your Wisdom Tree,
a leaf dropped into my hand
I placed it in my album of memory
to hold you close, my friend
Thank you for sharing your beautiful world,
your perception and your emotions.
No matter what fate has to hurl
I hope you remain strong, always
Lots of love and hugs
Alid

There in the silence another journey begins.
As a fledgling making its first capture of free air.
So you go.
There in the realms of mystery hidden from many but embraced by a few that walk within your aura.
Hold those dreams at the tip of your pen as they become insistent tapping keys.
Take yourself out beyond the think and let the universal energy guide your ways.
There in the twilight of the galaxies is a space so beautiful it will make the journey last for ever.
Here in this now the writing and thoughts as you have done, will have to hold onto our day to day reality.
Knowing what lays beyond makes the strife here seem worth the wait, much to do young lady, many words to form in the sanctuary of our minds, to give to those that read a destiny that even the old Gods will attend.
Go well young one and a lovely write, I think the children are here tapping the keys lol,
Yours in my now, Da xxx
Spin on...
You always take me on such beautiful word-journeys! Your Yankee bro, ~ Gee
Love and higgest bugs. xxoxx
Sweet Jayne
I notice you used a few bible versus, that tells me a lot about your pain. We human lean towards God when things begin to get scary. there is great beauty in letting go to the great peace of our life.
By the way it was Peter who denied he knew Jesus three times. Judas betrayed him for 30 pieces of silver
It makes me sad to read the out pouring of your heart.

chasms of time
what beauty in your thoughts
chasms are perhaps
like prisms of time's rainbow
ur the epitome of free style poetry
what ever tis does mean
we all are happy reading the only one
who has the mastery over
what many don't know
is called phree shtyle poetry
Beautifully written Jayne!
Your flair for poetic language has always held me in awe, and this piece is no exception! The theme is powerful, the imagery vibrant, and the readability of the whole thing is just awesome! From a friend and a fan, you go girl!
