The Misty Dawn

Through the trees gentle Nyx overleaps
Haunting white huddles in sleepy dells
Enfolding softly the silver bells
Moving soundless as the dew creeps

Infused mist glows silver in Selene
Silent sentinels stand in ghost seas
Tendrills of fog curl delicately
Yearning to wake from this shrouded dream

Deftly now Nyx surrenders the night
Aurora glides in her chariot drawn
Waking the dell with the hymns of morn
Nebulous colours herald the light

About This Poem

Last Few Words: I thought I'd just share this with you guys - it's my favorite poem of all. A friend wrote this for my birthday one year. It's an acrostic and it was also written in a certain meter. (Shame on me for not remember what kind). I have to say it's the best present that anyone could've ever given me.) I just thought I'd share it with everyone else.
