Goddam next poem

brutal
words
fall
off
the
edge
of your mouth,
the tip of your tongue
still wagging

that's how i feel about my poems,
someone is always saying do this to that.
i say but it's not in this poem to do that.

no one knows better than i when
to borrow a word
and make it into something it's not.

in a momentary reprieve recently I wrote three poems but hesitated to post them because I've given no critique lately.
So I made myself give five critiques then posted them with a clear conscience. Is this partly a hangover from my protestant work ethic, do you think?

Damn you don't hold a talk with your self, how could I have forgotten lol.
I find that that voice of mine, as I talk to myself doesn't lie.
Well I assume it tells the truth..
Lovely to see you here fighting, I hope the world is treating you well now.
It has been a while and I missed your works, now looking in my crystal ball there is a company of two standing with you, one a lovely lady and another a young man, is it a memory that you hold so close to your thoughts,
You take care and lets see more of your writes, time is passing and we must look to what is or will be,
