The Plumber Man

And what can we do when the plumber man comes
hide children hide
your walls won’t protect you now

Tap, tap, tap

Goes the pipe against the wall

Stand tall young one
stand tall

The plumber man does smirk
Monday
Tuesday
Wednesday
Thursday
tell mummy that he’s here

thump, thump, thump
goes his footsteps down the hall

too small young one
too small

daddys’ home
and the plumber mans dead

A cautionary tale?
Scary story for kiddies?
Deconstructionist allegory?

I don't know, but it works.
