As consciousness rose
so did the shadows in men,
until the white sun rises
and leaves turn unfolding Zen
In the long grass of sleep we all lay
awaiting the awakening to life,
innocence filled our atoms
but we breathed in being and strife
In all the evil that’s been bourn
perpetuating the threat of old,
is the rotten heart of humanity
and with stealthy legs he rolls
As lessons of history were shared
the sins of time have repeated,
and the hordes filled with hate
storm the Tara pets at our feet
Until hate is colour blind
and all gods are held up,
and the mantel in the flame
is blown and fully caught
We are lost but not in vain
will this fight be forever fought,
be not afraid for in our veins
is courage breed and brought
I have faith with sanity and time
this blackness will fill with light,
and tomorrows will be boldened
as purity glows crystal bright
Watching the pictures flicker by
scored with suffering and pain,
it's then that i fear this world
will never know innocence again
I feel the pureness in the flow
as the breezes brush my face,
in the universe no miracle holds
a candle to the blue of this place
Please ignore this simple child
polluted and poisoned by life,
I just want to see an end to war
before my last rays of light

I can sense from where this poem could have emoted and inspired...i guess it is from what you are going through in recent times...many a verse is filled with wisdom and it is good to see the verses such as :-

Drift on young lady the universe will unfold before your eyes.
Let not the trials of pain sink into your spirit lest all you feel is pain
There as the sun rises above the darkened shore.
In that field of buttercups we await that joy of colour once more.
Prepare a chain of Daisies, for the children as they sing and bring you peace of mind.
The new now will be upon us soon and we shall dance within our think at first, then we shall make a mighty twirl.

Perspective from the porch view
times were hard in the thirties here..
farming...subsistance for most..
now we have everything and still
all the unrest and turmoil..
same greed..hatred and randomisms
I like how you want to feel a peace
see peace...sitting on the rocker
on the porch my friend said to me
and she plays twelve string and
has a beautiful soft voice and
feels her heart...
I would be there beside her
but it would nay be a twelve
string on my lap
one eye on the horizon and
other on whats coming up
the drive!!
