saw chat lit up..left a statement or two and left...quiet like the night tonight...

but it is working,

I had a chat with Rockabilly Ragdoll,
it'll take time for people to start using it again and organise a few chat sessions.

it's also what gets me in most trouble [evil smirk]

I do so hope this is a real fix and Rockabilly Ragdoll, Esker and I didn't just stumble in on Andrew whilst working on a fix. Oh man, we had so much fun, duct taping Paul to the ceiling when he dozed off whilst moderating, defenestrating anyone who didn't know the meaning of the word. The acronym game! Also private rooms for live AC, Chat Committee, Workshop Committee meetings etc.

It will boost the site a lot when it is really up and running.

My normal tape player packed in and the small one I use also stopped working yesterday so I have rejigged the system and am recording straight from a tape amp, via the speaker using it to power the mic on the lap top this is the second amp the recording was stopped as the first recorder amp started eating the tape

it will take scheduling a time for more than one person to be there on at least a weekly basis for folks to get back into the habit of using chat

I just launched a chat room and it worked! No-one else there yet of course. I hope I am not being pre-emptive but wow! This would be huge!
I so miss chat! It's my unpremeditated often over-medicated comments there that have got me suspended from Neopoet too many times to count but by crikey we had some fun!
