I don't know much about Haiku
I just thought I'd type out a short three verse - (they were discussing 5-7-5 patterning on a post) - and this kinda turned up after choosing the title "Snow" but I've changed the title....... Thanks, MArk

I absolutely love this Haiku - the imagery is iconic of the next day after a winter storm - white and pristine! but it comes with a deep bitter cold.
I'm not sure if it really matters but the second line has eight syllables. ( I think ). It depends on how strict you want to be. ( I think there is a decree of flexibility allowed - though I'm not sure ).
Any way - well done to you this is a beautiful haiku.
