My Poetry!

Five minutes a poem,
If you do permit,
Poetry is an art
That I too admit!
What of poetry you say,
Tis something that emanates
Right from the heart my way
I have no second thought,
No second draft,
I don't know the poetic craft,
But
It emerges from my inners of my heart,
Poetry is of my mind,
A veritable part,
Like this one extempore,
Don’t ever I lure?
I’m am one poet that’s for sure
And
All those who read me
Do so adore
And
Flatter me to death,
They call me an icon,
Perhaps now I feel like one.

Those who say so,
Are so many,
I wonder out of them
There’s a poet at all, if any,
Yet i am sought to compose,
My mind does dispose,
Perhaps for the bards
It may be garbage
I do suppose.

Call it pros or a rose
Poetry I’ll continue to compose,
Rhyme and rhythm
You make out
Reading poetry
Is an art no doubt!
