A legend That Comes True

A legend born, yet now it's real.
It ceased the human awful woes.
It grew to cure and always heal,
the doctors say it's 'ffect is true.
When raw and honest comes to you,
its magic touch would last a while.
'Twas born and grew a time ago,
a legend runs by the name of "Smile".

It's costless so, it would appeal
to those whose days have gone so blue.
It's precious as it shines so clear
through cloudy days with blurry views.
It's costless yet it's rich with hue,
the knights have sought it out for miles.
A priceless value comes to you,
the legend runs by the name of "Smile."

You like it for its carnal feel
when breaks out wide as does the flu.
Around it goes alike the wheel,
then back it spiels and comes to you
to catch a friend or else a foe,
and lasts so fashionable in its style.
Forever now it goes and through,
the legend runs by the name of "Smile".

A legend born, now it's true.
It rests the hearts and dwells a while.
You'd healthy stay if daily you've two,
of the legend runs by the name of "Smile".

It meant to be a lighthearted piece. You know one that would draw a smile.
Thanks for reading.

Lighthearted and full of truth, it really did make me smile. Love Roscoe...

I am in total agreement with Roscoe--I couldn't help but smile while reading it! I find the metaphor of the legend and the smile interesting. I wonder what you mean by it? I would not want to misinterpret your intent.

I am always happy to find a new pen joining.
Don't think much what this meant as long as it conveyed a message.
I have no furthest target than drawing a smile when I can. It is all I wanted :)

Very nice Rula! and so true! a smile is without cost and yet priceless and "rich in hue", A smile is also infectious, never goes out of style and is often reciprocated - I love the unusual rhyme - I like to see individuality and adventurous rhyme in poems - and this one fits the bill nicely!

Great poem - original and most importantly - uniquely you. :)
