Simply a poet
I am an ordinary poet
read by many friends and well wishers
across the globe...
why should I join a competition?
what for?
money and fame are like wax of a candle
tis the flame alone
which gives warmth and recognition
it gives light and comfort at all times
from births to temples, churches, monasteries
and
finally the grave
some intellectual’s poor ones
read under the candle light
so all I wish to do
is to thank you for reading me too...
a poet out of the blue!

Your poetry, at its best, has an odour of estrogens
at its worst it stinks of it.
The little girl, swinging on a swing screaming
look at me!
look at me!
Can't you see this?
u inspired it
jess
man needs balls
actually, yes, I can see that
but truly, you need to let your work stand on its own legs without referring to others or yourself.
That is my honest advice.
Thank u
do also read the one inspired by ur testosterones
balls!
Loved
I agree with Jess on this one.
Come on give out some hell, but make it from you.
No mention of death, or sexual desires that seem to inflict bad poetry.
Write from that scream you can hear within your trapped words.
I have seen them, when the escape to the end of your quill.
One day we may not be here and you will have to hold the fort for us, so get a bloody grip I know you can write as good as any I have read.
Yours Ian
