Killer Job... Storytelling in Dramatic Verse

A little bit of humor makes the job easier
if you know what I mean?

I sometimes make a bit of a joke to myself
when I kill someone.

Like the time I stuffed the electric-guitar
up this musician's ass and turned it on.

The way he tried to get away from it,
made me think of the way 'Elvis' swiveled
his hips as he sang and danced across the stage.

That put a smile to my lips and I danced a little
myself.

The time that I stapled the teller's lips together
at the bank was also a little joke.

She was constantly running her mouth
going on about such senseless things.

“ Don't you think, that Karen's shoes are just too much?
I found this cool-mint lipstick at, blah, blah, blah...”

Little things like that, just makes the job
so much fun and easy!

Well, off to work; I wonder how I can make this one
interesting?
It's a librarian; Hey, where's my super-glue?

and I am so glad you reference my absolute favorite Killer moment/poem. I think I danced a little myself when he put that guitar up that dude's ass. I know it made me smile, still does thinking about it!!!!! So glad to see Killer return. Can't wait to see where this play takes him!!!

Geezer

This workshop is really fun! Killer is enjoying himself immensely! I think that Sir Gee is planning on joining the play and who knows who else might show up? Killer is so glad that you remember one of his favorite memories!

Forward to the interaction between sir gee and killer. Nevermore is enjoying this workshop as well. Working on part 3 of my play

China Blue

wow Killer is quite the character. I can't wait to see what you come up with for the second part of the workshop
Killer seems more like a young boy pulling pranks in this one but I had to laugh from the get go of it

Geezer

still in many respects a young boy, due to his childhood. Losing his youngest brother was very traumatic for him. Second part is going to be a 'Killer'! Thanks, ~ Gee

I do believe Killer and I have the same sense of humor! LOL!! Another winner from our favorite sinner, KILLER!

Geezer

Lonnie would like this one! I'm sure that you two would be great friends if you ever meet!
Yes, your sense of humor is very much like Killers! Thanks ~ Gee

Totally enjoyed this. Till I got to the last stanza. I'm a librarian--for Pete's sake, what are you planning to do with that super-glue?

wesley snow

This qualifies and even made me laugh.
What does that make me?
Do we get to see your play? I hope so. Who can carry on a conversation with Killer?

Geezer

we have passed! Killer has made many people laugh and a good deal of people cry. I guess it depends on which end of the joke you are on, huh? Yes, there is going to be a play! There are some that can carry their end of the conversation with Killer. Maybe Killer will have a discussion with his other-self about the morality of making jokes while he kills! Thanks for the read and comments, ~ Gee

Isn't it nice when a person enjoys what they do? lol.............stan

I liked everything but the ending. Was looking for something that was going to put my otf lmao.

Geezer

was meant to keep you wondering what 'Killer' was going to do with the super-glue. LOL Thanks for the read and comment, ~ Gee

A good curtain raiser which makes the reader have a blend of humor and mystery. Reading the posts of other participants of this WS and the themes is a testimony of the wild fantasy their minds are capable of. Nice one Gee. Certainly looking forward to the next episode of superglue...

You are just going to make up your own ending for that one! LOL
I mean, what would be the worst thing that you could do to a librarian with super-glue?

I don't think that was what Killer had in mind. LOL
But yes, there are many things that could be done with super-glue!
Love ya, ~ Gee

Sorry....my mind wandered into a sadistic area for a moment...will let killer decide what to do with that glue. Love ya

Well all of them keep asking who is going to interview Killer, I had a word with Digit, and as he has to come to New York for a few days said that he would love to have another beach party.
But I think he also said yesterday that Killer should write this one, it gives another point of view to how they work again, just in case the others are becoming complacent.
This is a good memory jog for us and reflecting on the response the others are crying out for more, just because they can't actually do these things themselves.
Keep writing, Yours, Jack Sparrow
