Just wait for me
Swimming across the Internet
with an open mind,
we search for all those memories
left far, far behind
some we recall
some we find
then one has no mind
with many more to bind
The world is fraught with folks
of all kinds
some speak fables
some in riddles
some gain your vein
some say you are a pain
yet we all seemingly fall in the same plane
alas who is the one to be trusted
search the Internet in vain!
The world is a maze
and so we all amaze
who to wait for
whom not to
then you have the audacity to say,
just wait for me
well most do
You seek the key
to a man’s heart
a woman’s maybe
and still exhort all humanity
Just wait for me
Whom to trust
Oh wiser ones
just tell me
but now I wish to say
Just don’t wait for me!

Great use of rhyme
as well as interesting content. Sometimes we just "click" with people on the internet, as you suggest (at least, that is what I understand by "some gain the vein"). It's as if we'd known each other for years. That's how I feel about you for some reason.
Best wishes,
Robert.
thanks Robert

dear lovedly,
I have to tell you...the only places I visit on the Internet is Neopoet, dictionaries, and occasionally I will google music. I am really impressed by this poem, the easy wit and I found some humor, too. my favorite lines are:
The world is a maze
and so we all amaze
who to wait for
whom not to
then you have the audacity to say,
just wait for me
*many hugs, Cat
Thanks Cats
