You must have looked so good when you were young!
You still have shapely legs,
high cheekbones,
sparkling eyes,
a mischievous smile,
a neat figure,
slim neck,
strong shoulders...
You must have looked so good, but I can't remember you
as your were, unless, too occasionally,
I take down a photo album from its dusty shelf,
and there you are in your young glory,
making me feel that other men
must have envied me then
and perhaps they do now!

Hi Robert
All I can say after reading this post is that his is a very innocent and honest acknowledgement of the elements of love which made the chemistry work for you... I appreciate your humility in doing so without male chauvinism... i liked it for sure...
Regards,
Glad you liked
this rather simple poem. It certainly seems to sum up my wife's enduring beauty, for me at least.
Best wishes,
Robert.

but too much use of'''' the'''
lessons the charm
no harm
edit with ur own arm

Thanks
for your comment, which is not really as hard as cement. Repetition is a useful tool when writing poems, but is easily overused. I have modified this poem following your advice.
Best wishes,
Robert.
