DESPAIR

The days are dark,
The nights are black,
From this doom,
I wont come back.

I am too tired,
To live another hour,
My life force is weak,
I have no power.

So I must go,
I can not dwell,
With you I leave,
My story to tell.

Please don't weep,
This is for the best,
I have to move on,
So I can rest.

So come to me,
And hold my hand,
Maybe some day,
You will understand.

I know it is selfish,
I hope you forgive,
But I am finished,
I have nothing to give.

I have always liked it when you go dark with your poetry, the emotions are so vivid. that it seems that you are truely go to take your life.
so please stop scaring me, even though deep inside of me I like that touch of fear you generate.
thanks always
Eddie

Do Not Despair

The only one strength
That man can brave of
To include women
In the folds of friendly fraternity too
Is never despair
Life was given especially to you,
By a juxtaposition of millions of genes
Many spent in the lost pavilion
Of times distant eternal domains
Many times washed down the drains

Only once in a while is seeded
A genetic combination
So live upto the desired destination,
Life’s sojourn is but a minuscule
In terms of time
We all are nano specks of dust,
You call it energy
I call it time
Don’t despair it hurts my heart
But seeing you my heart did jump
And
Now it’s about to thump.

This brilliantly written poem is disconcerting. I hope it doesn't mean that you are leaving us... that would be a tragedy indeed and there are many here who feel as I do and would miss you terribly. Please be well, little one, and know that you are loved.
