hermits gloss costume

cure congeal catacombs
heritage of break silence
spawning grounds......slur syllabic
lushness parched throats

truncate and receding
monument and truncheon
in solitary devolution
echo of pinnacle

pedestal the leper whose feast of apparition
fruition dote bearing similitude
restrain the condiments- me and you
a mirror - strewn

Fill me in. I'm lost. Don't understand this piece at all.

the title is a metaphor, hermit represents silence and solitude, and the gloss costume represents the mirror in the poem that gets shattered eventually, this is used to connote someone who is seeking his true self and disorientated , the sickness of loneliness needs a cure it is as grave silence, hence the use of catacombs congeal, this also refers to voicelessness as we can see with the lush parched(dry) throat, the second stanza speaks of the pinnacle of being ostracized from communion with any one, and the last stanza is a climax of the poem in comparison to a shattered glass breaking in pieces the viewer of himself to tiny irrelevant grit

A drift into a space of loneliness, where the sight of you has become blurred,
the words as usual seemed as if they came from a thesaurus, good words but I feel that if you put your thoughts together and then plotted a course to our ways.
there would appear a pathway where we could all walk with you there.
Take care I shall wait for you to be here, Yours Ian.T
